Prefer 3 years full time experience as a Craftsperson in Industrial Maintenance or Construction Projects. Position requires strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance skills in troubleshooting and repair of chemical plant and nylon fiber processing equipment. Computer Skills: Basic computer PC skills. Associate degree, military training, and/or related experience preferred. Candidate must be able to speak in front of a group occasionally and provide direction/instruction to others as needed. Candidate must be constantly looking for new technology to drive improvements/reliability. Candidate must be willing to serve on (A2E) teams for area improvements as needed. ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES DESIRED: Provox, PLCs, AC&DC Drives and Welding skills. TESTING REQUIREMENTS: Basic Assessment: SC WorkKeys Math and Reading with a score of 4 or higher. If you are selected for an interview you may be required to take an Electrical Skills and Mechanical Aptitude test.
Our Greenwood site has an opening in our maintenance department for an E&I Technician on our 12 hour rotating shift schedule. Candidates for this position should be self-starters who are skilled in troubleshooting and repair of state-of-the-art process equipment. We are a team based, rotating shift facility and utilize integrated computerized maintenance management software in our operations.
