BS/BA Degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Human Services, or related management field. Prefer a Master's Degree in Education, Psychology or Human Services. Three years of work experience in a Head Start, Early Head Start, childcare, or other comparable program in a leadership or supervisory position. Must be able to analyze and aggregate data. Will accept combination of experience and/or training that demonstrates required knowledge and skills.
Possess strong interpersonal skills and exhibit cooperative, enthusiastic, dedicated, flexible, dependable and friendly attitude. Ability to relate to disadvantaged children and families.
Valid South Carolina Driver?s License. Basic computer skills required. Comparable Pay and State Benefits.
Under the supervision of the Head Start Program Director, the Early Head Start Program Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating center services to children in the Early Head Start Program as prescribed in the Head Start Performance Standards. Services include education, nutrition, recruitment, parent involvement; security and property maintenance are in compliance with program's regulations.
