Sealed Air Corporation, designs, develops, manufactures and sells proprietary packaging systems and is widely recognized as an innovative leader in the flexible packaging industry. We have an opening for an Electrical Technician at our Simpsonville, SC facility.

Ensure reliable operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance troubleshooting, repair, modification, installation, demolition, and upgrade requirements following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer?s instructions, and engineering specifications, Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), written safety programs and other technical documentation. Support as flexible labor in support of the site in areas outside of the specific role assignment. Provide support for contract labor force in communication of and champion for site conditions to ensure contractors perform work to within our safety, Root cause failure analysis (RCFA), Lean, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), High Performance Work Teams (HPWT), and similar. Strive for optimal balance between cost of equipment maintenance and equipment reliability. Support daily Team Maintenance Specialist role (TMS) for assigned Manufacturing Product Group (MPG).

Lesser skilled levels of B & C are expected to progress in skill to top level by learning essential duties and responsibilities in this A level job description over time through formal and on the job training. Individuals will be assigned to a specific role in an area and may be reassigned permanently or temporary to other Maintenance Electrician roles, but in support of this basic job descriptions essential duties and responsibilities.

The Electrical Technician will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, install and improve manufacturing process equipment, including AC/DC drives, power and control circuits, PLC?s and Computer Supervisory Systems. The Electrical Technician must be multi craft capable of maintaining complex electro-mechanical equipment spanning routine maintenance, intricate tear down & rebuild, and extensive troubleshooting.
