Wages/Salary: With 2 years experience $16-$19 hr. With 4 years experience around $42,000 a year.
Must have Knowledge in AC/DC wiring, conduit bending and control wiring. Must have at least 2 years of experience. Generator experience with various voltages a plus. Must be able to read schematics and be knowledgeable of appropriate local and national codes. Most work done in a warehouse environment on site but must be able to travel for field service work on occasion. Must have appropriate tools to perform job duties. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, drive forklift, take direction and communicate effectively. Must be able to communicate professionally with customers. Must be willing to work overtime on occasion. Must be able to adapt to changes. Applicant must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
Responsible for various types of weld preparation, MIG welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture project to engineering drawings and customer specifications. Joins, fabricates and repairs metal and other welding material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on weld equipment as required. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Have appropriate tools to perform jobs. Will require to perform other duties as required, directed or assigned. Equal Opportunity Employer.
