Teamwork and coordination is essential to this position?s success. The Electromechanical/Instrumentation Technician shall be able to make decisions pertaining to the plant electrical and instrumentation systems with minimal supervision. Minimum four year Instrumentation experience. Extensive knowledge in low voltage electrical circuits and industrial 480 Volt equipment including but not limited to: motor contactors, motor control centers and drives (e.g. VFD, Servo, Stepper). Working knowledge of Alternating Current (AC), Direct Current (DC) voltage systems and emergency power (generators and UPS). Working knowledge of low/medium voltage breakers and distribution systems. Lifting up to 40lb loads on a regular basis.
Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
The Electromechanical/Instrumentation Technician provides support for the production manufacturing facility. He/she is knowledgeable of all production lines and equipment and has the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment throughout the facility. The Technician is responsible for completing work orders, carryout preventative maintenance schedules, and the installation of new equipment. He/she will be expected to troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and partially light mechanical equipment on process systems to support production, future projects, and/or modifications.
