MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree in engineering; or a bachelor's degree in engineering technology and two
(2) years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with
State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

Job Description:

Serves as the project manager and inspector on assigned projects. Ensures the contractor
complies with the plans, contract special provisions and standard specifications. Receives a high
QMT project rating. Checks pay items entered into site manager, computes liquidated damages,
asphalt pay adjustments, and fuel adjustments on all related items. Ensures proper samples
and certifications for materials have been obtained. Meets with utility company representatives
to determine if and where their facilities are to be moved. Meets with public officials, property
owners, contractor personnel and the general public to discuss any construction problems and
solve these problems according to established SCDOT guidelines.

Schedule:
FTE - Full-Time Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
