Wages/Salary: AGENCY HIRING RANGE - MIN: $41,938.00 AGENCY HIRING RANGE - MAX: $57,695.00
A bachelor's degree in engineering; or a bachelor's degree in engineering technology and two (2)
years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with
State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
ADDITIONAL
Assists with preparation of maintenance contracts for bid, including CTC contracts. Meets with
engineers, developers, property owners, and utility companies to resolve matters involving
encroachment permits. Assists District Engineers and/or Resident Maintenance Engineers with
maintenance QMT reviews. Performs District QMT inspections of maintenance units. Trains and
assists with managing maintenance purchase order contracts. Supervises/manages district-wide
"Palmetto Pride" program. Performs QC/QA inspections on maintenance contracts as needed and
provides RME's with technical assistance on current construction standards, specifications and
testing procedures. Assists in district review of damage claims and making recommendations for
payment or denial. Assists with responding to inquires from the public. Assists in investigating
complaints and work orders in maintenance. Provides DME, ADME with recommendations
and solutions. Performs surveying duties as needed to prepare or inspect maintenance projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
