Entry Level Process Engineer

Primary Functions

Lead Engineering Projects: Coordinate and manage activities within the Engineering Department, ensuring seamless job transitions related to capacity.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Evaluate and facilitate coordination between departments using production and laboratory data for optimized results.

Drive Product Modifications: Actively participate in product modifications requested by customers and Flame Spray NA, ensuring all needs are met.

Analyze Specifications: Thoroughly analyze new product specs and drawings, including quality control requirements, to ensure excellence.

Technical Sales Support: Provide expert technical support to the Sales Department during new product negotiations, helping secure new opportunities.

Feasibility Studies: Conduct all preliminary activities necessary to assess the feasibility of the qualification process.

Organize Kick-Off Meetings: Take charge of organizing kick-off meetings for new product qualifications, setting the stage for success.

Qualification Process Management: Oversee the entire qualification process, including Manufacturing Process Plans, First Piece Qualification, and Pilot Lot Qualification.

Interdepartmental Coordination: Ensure smooth coordination of qualification activities with the Production and Quality Control Departments.

Documentation and Preparation: Prepare Parameters Data Sheets, operating instructions, and Travelers for new products, ensuring thorough documentation.

Tooling and Programming Support: Collaborate with other departments to provide necessary tooling, robot programs, and masking for new products.

Production Integration: Work closely with production to transition parts smoothly from qualification to full production.

Ongoing Production Support: Provide continuous support to Production and Quality Control during ongoing production activities.

Quality Management Participation: Actively support and attend quality management activities, maintaining high standards.

Report Maintenance: Maintain and update all indicators and necessary reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Certification Support: Play a key role in supporting all activities related to the company's Quality, Safety, and Environmental certifications.
