?High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
?Must be willing and available to work the off- shift
?Graduate of an accredited welding program or minimum of 2-years industrial/construction or similar commercial welding experience and be proficient to successfully pass required weld testing on pipe and certification in the following: SMAW (Stick), GTAW (Tig), and FCAW (Flux Core).
?Academic or employment experience welding pipe in positions including, but not limited to: overhead, vertical, and flat.
?Must possess skills to successfully interpret and execute production using drawings, blue prints, planning, and general methods.
?Possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
?Be willing to take a drug test & submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process
?Prepare, arrange, fit and assemble a variety of materials (stainless, carbon, nickel alloy, cobalt alloy, HastX, Nimonic, etc,) and components using a variety of weld processes (tig, stick, & flux core) in a gas turbine manufacturing facility.
?Will have ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and productivity in position of responsibilities.
?Must be a flexible team player and participate with problem solving and continuous improvements.
?Duties and job functions include applying all types of welding processes (tig, stick, & flux core) to various parts, assemblies, and components.
?Make welds in all positions on and off the turbine.
?Must possess skills to successfully interpret and execute production using drawings, blue prints, planning, and general methods.
?Duties also require operation of various material-moving equipment (forklifts, jib/gantry cranes, etc.) and use of a wide variety of associated shop equipment and tooling.
?Must have skills to pass required pipe weld test and certify in the following weld processes: SMAW (Stick), GTAW (Tig), and FCAW (Flux Core).
?Must perform other assigned duties as required.
