Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
Current and valid South Carolina license as Registered Nurse, PNP preferred
Three years of nursing experience. Pediatric and/or health education preferred
Must have a valid South Carolina Driver’s License
Responsible for identifying and treating health disorders among Head Start and Early Head Start children and provide instruction in the maintenance of good health and disease prevention. The Health Nurse will evaluate the physical conditions of children and refer children to appropriate resources as needed. All duties are performed in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and policies and procedures, state Licensening Regulations, and state law regarding nurse practice. Full-Time position with State Benefits offered.
