Must be familiar with standard drawing practices. Should have AutoCAD. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have high attention to detail. Associates Degree, or equivalent experience in drafting and design Good knowledge of general machining and fabrication practices preferred. Good knowledge of standard materials for machining and fabrication.Must be familiar with and able to use standard measuring tools ? tape measure, calipers, protractors, angle finders, etc. ? Assist in developing the structural design of products using drafting tools or computer-assisted design (CAD) or drafting equipment and software.
The ability to read blueprints. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Looking for an individual with the eagerness to learn and the ability to such. Potential candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude with work experience in the following fields; CNC machining, CNC programming, Laser & Press Brake Operations and Auto CAD experience, or equivalent.
