Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
  • Good knowledge of US Federal or State Employment Ordinance and other related ordinances.
  • Have expanded understanding of wage and hour requirements.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflows.
  • Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the “why”.
  • Must have recruiting experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to proactively identify and develop effective solutions.

  • Experience with full cycle recruitment in a manufacturing environment

Job Description:

A successful candidate in this role will work within the payroll team focusing on bi-weekly payroll processing payroll for the location in Greenwood, SC. This candidate will work independently on many tasks while also working with the team to successfully support all payroll and other Human Resource functions. 

 

  • Possess strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll process.
  • Perform payroll-related functions including tax changes, wage garnishments, benefit deduction changes.
  • Onboarding all new hires into payroll system along with verification of all required onboarding documentation.
  • Full Cycle Recruitment for non-exempt hourly positions.
  • Review and verify Recruitment reports on a weekly basis to determine # of applicants, interviews and hires per position.
  • Create custom reports using ADP custom reporting system and run ad-hoc reports.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of payroll practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Review and maintain standard payroll reports.
  • Prepare Federal / State child support, tax levy, and wage garnishment responses.
  • Review various pay calculations and identify compliance concerns.
  • Assist with quarter and year end processes.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries.
  • Process bonus, adjustment, and out of sequence payrolls as needed.
  • Ensure tax and payroll compliance at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Support special projects as needed.
