Be certified by the SC Criminal Justice Academy in accordance with State law (23-23-40) or be willing to attend the academy for certification. High School diploma plus 2 years work experience in law enforcement
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES In this challenging role, you will support the Campus Police department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following: Enforce state/county/municipal laws Patrol campus Secure buildings/equipment Investigate traffic accidents/disturbances/violations Provides guidance/assistance to students/faculty/staff/visitors Participate in training programs to maintain certification Any other duties as assigned Greenville Technical College is one of the four largest institutions of higher learning in South Carolina with multiple campuses located throughout the Upstate.
