A degree in Horticulture or related field desired along with a current Chemical Applicator's License. Basic computer skills are required and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities include all phases of crop production, including monitoring and control of greenhouse environment, fertilization and nutrition management, pest management, propagation, scheduling and managing crews, overseeing seed quality testing and germination lab, plant and seed quality control, and all state and federal regulatory compliance. Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, organized and possess leadership skills.
