Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical training in mechanical/electrical systems preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or printing facility is a plus, however, we are confident we can teach you everything you need to know to be successful here if you have an open mind & willingness to learn.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for industrial machinery.
- Basic understanding of digital printing processes (preferred).
- Ability to lift and move objects (up to 25 lbs).
- Proficiency with tools and maintenance equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Technician
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of digital printing machines and other equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain logs of maintenance schedules and completed tasks.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues on equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors for advanced repairs or part replacements.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all machinery complies with safety standards and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote operational safety.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
Loader
- Loading and Staging:
- Load and unload raw materials, such as apparel, onto the production line following quality guidelines.
- Quality Assurance:
- Verify the accuracy of print materials and ensure garments meet the company’s quality standards.
- Operational Support:
- Assist with setting up print jobs by ensuring machines are properly loaded with garments and ink.
- Support production staff during peak times or large-volume orders.
Work Environment
- Climate-controlled manufacturing facility with moderate noise levels.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
