Wages/Salary: Starting pay depends a lot on experience, knowledge and training. Pay would range from $18 - $23/hr. More experienced candidates could receive even higher pay rates.
Must have High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree in Electronics Field a plus; 5-7 years experience and/or training; Experience with variable speed drives and temperature control systems a plus. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Perform routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical maintenance for production machines and equipment. Troubleshoot and prescribe required maintenance to assure satisfactory operation with minimum downtime. Work from drawings, prints, diagrams, and manufacturer's printed instructions to troubleshoot and locate machanical, hydraulic and electrical problems in functional and control systems such as PLC. Adjust, repair or replace defective parts or materials. Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections as required. Add optional equipment in order to enhance capability. Install new equipment and electrical service. Perform all types of facility maintenance and maintain building systems.
