Essential Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing maintenance experience or related technical training.
• Demonstrated knowledge in Tool Setup Operations.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Preferred Skills and experience:
• Ability to operate equipment within all specifications in assigned work area.
• Associates degree in a technical field or a minimum of 2 yrs of related experience.
Position Summary: Provide technical support for all areas by performing preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and troubleshoot equipment and processes.
Role Expectations:
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment for a safe and productive work environment.
• Provide technical support to ensure equipment is in a constant state of readiness.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure maintain safety and maintain uptime.
• Train Team Leader for assigned work area according to certification process.
Essential Functions:
• Troubleshoot and determine appropriate actions for repair.
• Provide Preventative Maintenance in assigned area.
• Maintain equipment in a state of readiness by safely utilizing hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and measuring and testing instruments.
• Set-up machines according to specifications.
• Make adjustments to the equipment when necessary to maintain quality of the part.
• Ensure team leaders understand and train associates using specified work instructions.
• Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and any other related equipment as appropriate.
• Actively participate and contribute to the team within assigned area.
• Perform all required duties and communicate information within shift overlap procedure.
• Perform all quality checks including measurements and document in SPC system (CMM Reporter or SPC Control Charts) in accordance to job specifications and standard work practices within assigned work area.
• Adhere to all housekeeping SOP's in and around work area including 5S standards.
• Understand and work in accordance to all TS-16949 and ISO14001 standards within assigned work area.
• Perform other duties specific to this position.
