Essential Skills and Experience:
• Meet Essential Skill and Experience requirements for a Manufacturing Tech Level I.
• Demonstrate understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of PLC Program Logic.
• Associates degree in a technical field or 5 yrs experience in related technical area or consideration given for technical certifications in lieu of associates degree.
• Ability to operate equipment within all specifications in assigned work area.

Preferred Skills and experience:
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot a PLC using Siemens Step 7 software ladder logic.
• Demonstrated ability to write CNC programs (SINUMERIC 840D).
• Demonstrated experience in Motor / Motor Drive Troubleshooting – Repairs.
• Demonstrated experience in Hydraulic Component Troubleshooting – Repairs.
• Demonstrated experience in Pneumatic Component Troubleshooting – Repairs
• Demonstrated basic understanding of robotics.

Job Description:

Position Summary: Provide technical support for all areas by performing preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and troubleshoot equipment and processes.

Role Expectations:
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment for a safe and productive work environment.
• Provide technical support to ensure equipment is in a constant state of readiness.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure maintain safety and maintain uptime.
• Determine spare parts requirements and make recommendations for equipment.
• Train Manufacturing Technicians level I according to certification process.
Essential Functions:
• Satisfactorily perform all requirements for a Manufacturing Tech Level I.
• Identify parts utilizing OEM Service Drawings.
• Assist with component replacement - Spindles, Bearings, Pumps, and Scales etc.
• Produce drawings and fabricate simple parts in the Maintenance / Machine Shop.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot and repair major mechanical breakdowns.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot and repair major electrical / electronic breakdowns.
• Utilize Controller Functions to Retrieve Error Messages to Aid Problem Solving.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical or pneumatic or hydraulic or PLC systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment utilizing PLC program.
• Troubleshoot 480V circuits and 24V Circuits.
• Assist With Motor / Motor Drive Troubleshooting.
• Perform Hydraulic Component Repairs.
• Perform Pneumatic Component Repairs.
• Actively participate and contribute to the team within assigned area.
• Perform all required duties and communicate information within shift overlap procedure.
• Perform all quality checks including measurements and document in SPC system (CMM Reporter or SPC Control Charts) in accordance to job specifications and standard work practices within assigned work area.
• Adhere to all housekeeping SOP's in and around work area including 5S standards.
• Understand and work in accordance to all TS-16949 and ISO 14001 standards within assigned work area.
• Perform other duties specific to this position.

Schedule:
1st shift. Monday - Friday. (*Note, since this is a new facility and a start up Overtime is to be expected.)
