A 10th grade education and three and one-half (3.5) years of work experience that involved the independent performance of job duties directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL). (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. However, qualified applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.
A valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required within six (6) months of placement in the position.
Repairs motorgraders, trucks, tractors, and automobiles. Repairs hydraulic systems on all types of equipment. Diagnoses problems and makes equipment repairs when needed. Rewires and performs electrical repairs. Rebuilds and replaces brake systems. Rebuilds and welds tractors and welds all types of steel. Coordinates clean-up of repair shop and work area for facilities inspections.
