Requirements:

Education:

  • High School/GED Diploma
  • Minimum two years associate degree in relevant field and/or two years of relevant maintenance experience
  • Demonstration of mechanical and electrical competencies required via pre-employment assessment

Experience:

  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of millwright experience

Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:

  • Safety shoes and glasses required when working in the production areas
  • Hearing Protection required in posted areas
  • Wear supplied uniforms
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand 8 hours on concrete floors
  • Ability to bend/stoop to floor level for extensive periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds

Job Purpose and Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, organizing, and performing complex work involving multiple trades such as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and physical activities

  • Mechanical and electrical equipment installation
  • Ability to work through modifications and improvements
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment and taking appropriate corrective action to resolve issue.
  • Plan and complete preventive maintenance checks

Position Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of electrical controls: PLCs, HMIs, motors, drives, etc.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems including: power and control wiring, AC and DC motors, and electrical components.
  • Applicant must have a valid driver’s license from a state within the US.
  • Working knowledge of industrial equipment and systems: HVAC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, etc.
  • Ability read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints.
  • Experience using the following: multimeter, amp probe, megohmmeter, calibration equipment, lathe, milling machine, drill press, plasma cutter, band saw, forklift, pipe bending equipment, pipe cutter/threader, grinder, cut off saw, metal shears, welding equipment, small power and hand tools, micrometers, depth gauges, dial and digital calipers, and computers.
  • Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment
