 Operations Laborer 

Title: MNI Direct Operations Laborer 

Reports To: Branch Manager 

Summary 

This position provides plant care, nursery maintenance, loading outbound trucks and unloading inbound product. Must also use great customer service when greeting and doing business with customers.  

Primary Responsibilities  

• Receive, unload, count, position, and maintain all plants and associated material on the sales yard. 

• Greet customers in the yard. Build relationships with foreman and crews associated to our customer base. 

• Use and operate radio communication with the sales office. 

• Select and stage orders for customers as directed by branch management and sales staff. 

• Space, jam, prune, weed, fertilize, water, or take other plant care measures to keep plants healthy. 

• Load sales orders onto trucks for scheduled delivery; maintain accurate paperwork and clearly identifiable orders. 

• Ensure you know and practice good safety behavior and good safe work practices. 

• Operate skid steer and other MHE under OSHA certification as required. 

• Perform other duties as required.
