Prefer a current student of computer science or a graduate with an associate's degree in computer science or related field and one year of related experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Requires a valid driver's license and own transporatation.

Job Description:

Provides first and second level support for IT systems used at Capsugel.

Troubleshoots hardware and software problems; makes repairs. Installs new hardware and software upgrades. Delivers IT eqiupment to and from department as needed. Performs scheduled maintenance on computer equipment. Monitors computer, server, and network functions. Maintains database of computer equipment configurations, service, warranties and problem reports. Communicates with hardware/software vendors and the Pfizer Corporate IT support staff to resolve problems. Works with remote campuses including Licaps, MTC, the D.C. (each located in Greenwood) and Puebla, Mexico (Spanish not required) to resolve problems. Communicates with staff to keep them informed of recurring incidents and potential problems. Attends workshops and meetings related to IT. Must be able to work alternating shifts.

Solid knowledge of microcomputer hardware, operating systems and applications; good knowledge of network technology (Windows-based), and the Internet; ability to install, configure and troubleshoot PC and network-related hardware; effective written and oral communication and good interpersonal skills; must be well-organized and able to work well with non-technical colleagues; ability and manual dexterity to install, operate and troubleshoot computers, peripherals, and other technical equipment; ability to lift and move items and materials up to 50 pounds in weight; prior work experience in a manufacturing environment a plus; tact and courtesy; ability to work in a team environment; good judgment. Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.

Schedule:
Part-Time
Schedule is 15-20+ hrs/wk.
Week 1: Mon, Thu, Fri 4-9PM and Sun 8 AM - 5 PM.
Week 2: Tues, Wed 4-9PM and Sat 8 AM - 5 PM.
Week 3: Mon,Tues, Thu 4-9PM.
Shifts may vary.
