Valid SC driver?s license with good driving history; clean background; at least 18 years old; high school diploma preferred but not required; eligible to work in the U.S.; must be able to read, write, and speak English (Bilingual-a plus); must have own, reliable transportation; comprehend, follow, and complete directions; evidence of a recent, negative TB skin test (chest x-rays are acceptable).
A Personal Care Aide is an unlicensed (but not limited to) individual responsible for providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to home care participants in their place of residence. A Personal Care Aide must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach freely. Must be able to work effectively without direct on-site supervision, punctual, enthusiastic and energetic, proactive, Possess personal and interpersonal communication skills, maintain a clean and neat appearance with good hygiene, and demonstrate a positive, caring attitude toward those in need. A Personal Care Aide must have cooking and cleaning skills and be able to get along well with others in a residential setting.
