High School diploma or GED. Associates degree preferred. Candidates must pass Math and Mechanical Reasoning assessment exams for consideration.
Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Must have a minimum of one year experience working in an industrial / manufacturing environment.
Able to lift 40 pounds on intermittent basis throughout shift.
Must possess good manual dexterity and visual acuity.
Able to wear safety glasses, full face/half mask respirator,latex gloves, tyvek suit and other safety equipment as needed.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Operation of various manual and automated equipment used to manufacture and/or package pharmaceutical or OTC products in accordance with FDA, cGMP?s, and SOP?s.
Operate some stations of filling, packaging, and/or packing equipment.
Clean and set up manufacturing/packaging equipment.
Assure appropriate calibration stickers are current.
Record all necessary documentation in appropriate log books.
Communicate with Operators and Supervisor on all issues concerning quality, components and machine performance.
Complete downtime log accurately.
Assure that all labeling documentation; e.g. samples, waste is properly identified.
Communicate with incoming and outgoing shifts.
Knowledgeable of all appropriate SOP?s and their practical application.
