Minimum Requirements

Applicant must be a high school graduate or equivalent; preference given for pharmacy technician school graduate. Knowledge of drug names, pharmacy math and sterile technique. 1 year hospital experience including unit dose and IV admixture is preferred.

Job Description:

Basic Functions

The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist at all times. Position is responsible for reading, interpreting and recording drug orders.
