Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency in education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of three years of administrative experience preferred. Experience in a manufacturing background a plus.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Strong organizational skills.
Skills/Competencies: Strong computer skills – Windows 98/NT, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access. Familiar with BPCS, AS400 and Kronos. Must be able to understand and operate Label Matrix printers.
Other Skills: Must be able to speak, read and write the English language

• Must have flexibility to accept new duties as assigned by Production Manager or Superintendents.
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

• Normal work hours are on dayshift.
• Must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends and overtime as necessary.
• Some travel may be required.
Performs administrative duties for the Production and Maintenance Supervisors. This includes report generation, vacation scheduling, timekeeping, overtime coordination and other duties as assigned. All tasks should be performed in the safest, most efficient manner possible.
• Observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed. Responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions.
• Understand and comply with all current plant policies and procedures.
• Keep process control books up-to-date with latest documentation from QA and Process Engineers.
• Provide efficiency and waste information by employee to the supervisors.
• Place orders for office supplies and process incoming and outgoing mail for Production and Maintenance Supervisors. Keep all production forms stocked and available for operators.
• Generate and update production related reports/graphs.
• Assist Supervisors by typing requested reports from BPCS, etc.
• Responsible for timely completion of employee change forms.
• Provide backup support for Administrative Assistant to the Production Manager.
• Keep current tracking system for performance reviews with updated information such as machine performance, safety and attendance and alert supervisors with deadline.
• Assist and maintain vacation planning of hourly associates.
• Compile and post weekend work schedule.
• Work in BPCS to include production reporting and analysis, cycle count analysis, and shop order analysis.
