Wages/Salary: $28,000 – $35,000 annually
Bachelor’s degree with directly relevant experience in program coordination, higher education, or business operations. Equine program or logistical planning experience is preferred. A Veteran of one of the branches of the armed services or knowledge of veteran programs and services is preferred. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history.
Must have strong communication skills, computer and software programs, as well as data processing and record keeping practices. Ability to operate in a challenging environment and work independently to meet deadlines. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff, volunteers, and the general public. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. General knowledge of equine care.
Assists in the operation of Lander University’s Equestrian Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Program. In the broad context of the program, the Program Coordinator shall be responsible for the planning and execution of all logistical and administrative operations of the program. In addition, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for providing appropriate levels of advice and support to veterans and active duty military as they enter the University – including in the context of this program. The Program Coordinator of the Equestrian PTSD program reports to the Director of Military and Veteran Services.
