Bachelors Degree in Youth Development or a related field and/or 2 years program delivery or college experience.
General Function:
Plan, implement, facilitate, and supervise activities and events in a specific program area. Research, test and model a variety of innovative, exciting new programs in specific core areas that meet the diverse interests and needs of members, their parents and the community. Interface with volunteers assigned to specific programs to ensure proper application. Promote safety of members, quality of programs and appearance of the Club at all times.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
? Ability to deal effectively with staff, youth, parents, local community leaders, schools and churches
? Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
? Knowledge of youth development.
? BI-LINGUAL IN ENGLISH/SPANISH A PLUS
Job Responsibilities
? Plan, implement, facilitate, supervise and evaluate all educational programs, activities and events.
? Understand the Clubs? philosophy, vision and goals.
? Develop special events and activities for core program areas.
? Plan and implement quality programs for youth.
? Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
? Implement and develop curriculums that are aligned with program themes and events.
? Design colorful and informative displays and bulletin boards promoting program areas.
? Assist in the execution of national projects and exhibits.
? Mentor and inspire youth, adults and volunteers in the creative process.
? Keep records of participants, schedules, attendance and program results.
? Perform community outreach for assigned program areas
? Work with an array of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
? Mandatory First Aid/CPR.
? Other duties as assigned.
