Responsibilities include:
?Check and improve all optimized machine centers
?Check, report and improve mill product distribution and flow
?Monitor recovery trends
?Implement and perform efficiency studies related to the overall process
Desired skills or are enrolled in classes working towards knowledge of:
?Understanding of electronics
?Understanding of scanning, optimization and processing
?Understand individual optimized machine centers
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills
?Demonstrated computer skills
?Good statistical skills
?Good computer skills

?Enrollment in a 2-year technical program is required

The position is located at the Armour, North Carolina, sawmill operation. This is a temporary position which can potentially be converted to a full-time position upon graduation and a successful work experience. The Quality Control Intern will report to the Mill Manager.
