The Radiation Therapist performs an extensive range of Radiation Oncology procedures on in-patients and out-patients. Procedures are performed as prescribed by the
Radiation Oncologist and according to established practices and standards. Radiation Therapist will cover a rotational call schedule, as well as morning warm up. Complies with the ALARA principle. Provides patient/ family education related to Radiation Oncology. Ensures patients confidentiality. Maintains equipment and supplies. Models professionalism and teamwork. Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/ or Operations Manager.
