• Associates Degree in Electronics or relevant experience.
• Experience in Solid Works in order to design necessary components for test equipment.

• Excellent computer skills – Windows, Microsoft Office, installing and maintaining custom software.

• 5 yrs. Experience in high volume electronic manufacturing with relation to RF.

• Ability to move 50-125 pounds using proper moving equipment

Description: Develop test procedures, coordinate, administer, and monitor tests of products under development. To discover problems and debug programs so that equipment performs to design specifications. Diagnose malfunctions and failure of operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance. Plan, direct, and record periodic testing, and initiate modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Installation, support and repair of RFID test systems including: computers, software, inkjet marking systems, RFID readers, couplers, cameras/vision systems, and various types of hardware.
• Maintain calibration of RF readers according to schedule providing evidence of calibration in compliance with ISO 9000.
• Development of test specifications through tag correlation.
• Mechanical design of custom brackets and RF shields to improve testing capabilities and reduce setup time.
• Inventory management of RF test and lab equipment (readers, couplers, attenuators, cables, power supplies, computers, etc.)
• Continuous improvement of inline test systems to further reliability and reduce downtime.
• PLC troubleshooting and repair.
• Work directly with engineering to develop automated test solutions.
• Contribute to overall team effort to meet customer demands.
• Ability to train and transfer knowledge of software, process, techniques, skills and machinery to others.
• Maintain high standard of housekeeping, keeping floors and equipment clean and orderly.
• Comply with site safety and security requirements.
• Complete all required training sessions and actively participate on plant teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
