Requirements:
· Experience in Human Resources or a closely related field
· Demonstrated experience in and a love for screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates
· Strong attention to detail, time management and decision-making skills
· Must be comfortable working in a fast-pasted environment

Essential Functions:
Develops, facilitates, and implements overall recruiting and retention strategies for assigned departments.
Collaborates with assigned department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the assigned departments.
Oversees job posting and advertisement processes for the assigned departments.
Sources and recruits candidates for assigned departments using databases, social media, etc.
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials for designed departments.
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with assigned managers, directors, and the hiring committee
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies for assigned departments.
Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting events for assigned departments.
Schedules and coordinates special County job fairs as needed.
Promotes the County’s reputation as a “best place to work.”
Additional Duties:
Provides assistance and research support to the Human Resources team regarding turnover, recruiting efforts, and hiring success
Verifies references and compares job criteria to the applicant’s qualifications.
Organizes complete and accurate files on new hire candidates
Performs related work as assigned.
