Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc. ); ability to work independently; ability to work with others to resolve problems, handle requests or situations; ability to perform sales and demonstration presentations; knowledge of cable television products and services.
You need college coursework in sales and/or marketing, or equivalent experience.
You need to 3 years of retail experience. You need 2 years of Industry specific experience in cable, internet, and telephony products. You also, need a valid driver?s license and car.

Job Description:

Negotiate and execute authorized representative agreement with local independent retailers for the purpose of increasing Charter?s presence and distribution within the retail market. You are responsible for negotiating and executing new retail and reseller to sell Charter services; representative will be responsible for finding, executing contracts, training and ramping sales with new authorized local retailers/resellers. You will actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience; maintain sales goals and quota on a consistent basis. The Retail Sales Executive performance will largely be based off of their sales goal achievement. Negotiate/Execute agreement with authorized representatives to display/sell Charter products and services; maximize implementation of corporate retail agreements with retail outlets within the assigned territory; serve as a primary source of Charter Communications information in retail outlet, including providing training to sales staff; sell Charter products and services, conduct product demonstrations and provide consumer education/support.
You will need to oversee retailer order process to ensure procedures and policies are followed. Assist in customer issues and complaint resolution; serve as company expert on product knowledge, product mix, coverage area and pricing; communicate promotions and changes in rates and activation procedures; assist authorized representative sales staff with presentation and closing training; ensure Retailer has active working access to place orders through Charter Retail system; provide reports to Supervisor including feedback on activities, inventory levels, sales out, success of various tactics, problems, etc; perform other duties as requested by supervisor. You will spend approximately 85% of time spent in retail sales outlets;
some weekend and evening work; traveling including possible overnight stays.
