Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus five or more years of related work experience in automation field. Technical schooling desired. Must have mig/tig welding experience. Position requires programming and troubleshooting of Fanuc equipment. Testing may be required during interview process.

Job Description:

Continually monitors the welding processes and verifies that all machines are functioning properly to produce quality, sound parts and required to have an advanced knowledge of welding parameters and principals to make adjustments and changes accordingly. Also, must function as a trainer, when necessary, on any of the areas listed in this job description.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

-Ensures work area is clean and clear of safety hazards
-Promotes safe work practices and environment with himself/herself and those near the work area
-Uses specified PPE
-Maintains equipment per the established procedures and policies
-Programs weld cells to meet product specifications
-Provides engineering/troubleshooting support on tooling
-Helps develop processes and procedures to build welded assemblies
-Builds prototypes
-Assists with weld qualification/evaluation activities (macro test, visual inspection, etc.)
-Develops and documents weld parameters
-Helps generate process documentation
-Assists in training of Welders and Robotic Weld Cell Operators

2nd shift 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
