POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking an experienced CT Technologist. The Technologist will be accountable for operating CT equipment and diagnostic X-ray performing a variety of technical diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance to departmental procedures, policies and protocols. The Technologist will assist with the preparation for patient procedures as well as completing various QC procedures and documentation.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepares patients for examinations, obtaining appropriate screening and history documentation relevant to the procedure being performed.
• Performs diagnostic procedures in accordance with guidelines, policies and protocols on patients of all ages to ensure the delivery of quality care.
• Ability to produce quality images.
• Basic knowledge of Radiation protection and the ability to protect patients, staff members, and self.
• Ability to properly set up equipment including daily QC checks.
• Process CR Images and archive images through PACS.
• Reviews scans with the Radiologist as important anatomical detail and areas of abnormalities
• Assist with machine maintenance including working with service engineer
