A high school diploma and six and one-half (6.5) years of progressively responsible field experience in geodetic surveying or related area; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordancewith State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid motor vehicle operator's license.
Assists with Major projects involving materials used in flexible pavements. Assists Department and Contractors personnel with resolving technical problems occurring on asphalt construction projects. Assists with the instruction of the Agency's HMA Quality Control/Quality Assurance Technician Certification program. Performs duties associated with in-house and SPR research reports. Provides engineering assistance to the Mix Design and Superpave Binder testing units.
