Experience requirements
3-5 years of compressor technical field service experience required, with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of Atlas Copco Industrial and Oil-Free compressors. Strong mechanical and electrical experience. 6 months to 1 year experience delivering service training or equivalent.

Knowledge
Must be self-directed and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable delivering training to groups ranging from 5 to 50 participants. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, as well as in IBM Lotus Notes applications. Must also be proficient in obtaining product related information from the ACCL Global Business Portal. Extensive travel required.

Educational requirements
High school diploma with additional technical training or engineering degree.

Job Description:

Develop, schedule, and deliver service training for Direct and Distributor field service personnel on Industrial and Oil-Free compressors and related equipment.

Deliver Service Training (50%) ? Deliver classroom and practical training for Direct and Distributor field service personnel. Provide customer service schools as needed. Demonstrate effective content selection and delivery. Verify participant learning according to established objectives using a variety of assessment and evaluation activities. Provide feedback, re-training of participants as required to achieve learning.

Develop Service Training Curriculum and Courses (25%) ? In consultation with the VP, Services Operations, Vice President of CTS Operations, Product Managers, and CTS Operations Managers, assess training needs and develop service training curricula and courses for Direct and Distributor field service personnel. This includes the development of specific learning objectives and the selection of content, and effective delivery methods and approaches. Regularly revise and update course curricula. Develop and update a library of service training reference materials.

Coordinate and Publicize Annual Service Training Schedule (15%) ? In consultation with the CTS Operations Manager and the Vice President of CTS Operations, coordinate and publicize an annual schedule of service training courses. Courses should reflect training on all models of currently in-service Atlas Copco Industrial and Oil-Free compressors and related equipment and control systems. They should also involve the appropriate development of learners in the skills required to maintain, overhaul, and troubleshoot service issues with relevant equipment. Training should be offered on a rotating basis through the four U.S. regions, and may be delivered by the trainer or by selected product ?experts? in each region. Coordinate the logistics associated with presenting training according to the annual schedule of training.

Recordkeeping (5%) ? Maintain records of trainee attendance, performance and evaluation.
