Job Description:

The Social Worker Intern for Growing Home Southeast (GHSE), Inc., assists with providing quality case management, educational workshops, and community resources for children and their families.We offer both Micro and Macro placement options.

 

  • With supervision, maintain ongoing communication with service providers
  • With supervision, complete promptly, necessary records, forms and reports and maintain records as needed to comply with state/federal regulations as well accrediting bodies
  • Measure and analyze clients’ outcomes for funding and quality assurance purposes
  • With supervision, provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Provide timely follow-up calls and reminders for clients as necessary
  • With supervision, provide individual and/or group social work services for children whose emotional and/or behavioral difficulties interfere with their daily living
  • Participate and/or assist in development of any necessary professional development training
  • Assist various staff with other projects as required experience
  • Act as a mandated reporter on all incidents of abuse and neglect
