Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and clinical emphasis in college and university age population and programming.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the techniques and practices of the nursing profession. Ability to evaluate patients and to deliver the proper care or to refer to the proper facility. Ability to instruct and direct the work of a staff, and to establish and maintain the confidence and cooperation of patients. Experience with Microsoft Office preferred. Experience with Banner software required.
The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing professional nursing care with appropriate referrals for physician management and a comprehensive health education curriculum to Lander University students. Provides support for the office, including supply inventoryand assistance in orgination and review of policies and procedures. Assists the Director with various areas of operation as needed
