Requirements:

•Current enrollment in an accredited RN Nursing Program
•Successful completion of Fundamentals and a medical-surgical clinical course or equivalent prior to start of Extern Program in May 2011.
•GPA of 2.5 or higher

Job Description:

This exciting 10-week extern program is designed to provide a learning environment that fosters the development of a student’s nursing skills, enhancing future success in the nursing profession. The program starts the end of May and lasts through the beginning of August. Unit and shift preferences will be discussed in the interview process. Externs work 24 – 36 hours per week, while earning a competitive salary.
