A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and four (4) years of experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software or the testing and debugging of system software; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive experience with centralized management of Windows desktop operating systems and settings using Microsoft desktop imaging tools, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Microsoft Group Policy, VMWare and McAfee EPO.
Acts as primary administrator of Microsoft Configuration Manager to centrally deploy software including products and patches to Windows desktops. Acts as primary administrator of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit to create and deploy Windows desktop images to local, remote and virtual PC's. Acts as primary administrator of Windows Active Directory Group Policy to centrally manage desktop security and standardization settings on Windows desktops. Acts as primary administrator of VMWare View to centrally deploy and manage SCDOT's virtual PC infrastructure. Acts as primary administrator of VMWare Workstation to deploy and manage virtual desktop images for SCDOT applications developers. Acts as primary administrator of
McAfee EPolicy Orchestrator to centrally deploy and manage McAfee Virus and Security software on Windows desktops.
