Requirements:

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Acceptable mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic math functions (obtain passing score on Piedmont Tech skills assessment).
Flexible – willing to work where needed
Reliable – good attendance and safety record
Good computer skills – SMART data entry and or other computer interfaces
Ability to work well with others, to share knowledge through training
Ability to perform lifting of 25-40 pounds
Ability to move 50-125 pounds using proper moving equipment
Ability to work overtime as required during week and on weekends

Demonstrated aptitude to operate production machinery
Previous experience with Comco operation and controls

Job Description:

Assist in the operation of RFID Strap affix, converting and other related equipment to support RFID startup and production.
Operation and knowledge of converting press or presses (lamination, printing, die cutting, etc.).
Assist in set up press, mount printing plates or screens, print flexo-graphics, set up and maintain die, perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
Set up diecut and lamination presses.
Operate Acuity verification and automatic registration system.
Accountability for product scrap per customer requirements
Meeting of production schedules and throughput yield requirements and expectations
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with root cause analysis
Contribute to overall team effort to meet customer demands
Operate department machinery such as slitting, rewinding, inspection, and core cutter, etc.
Maintain high standard of housekeeping, keeping floors and equipment clean and orderly.
Produce error free paperwork and SMART transactions
Be willing to accept flexible work schedule and meet production/customer requirements
Comply with all appropriate ISO procedures
Produce product in accordance with customer and company requirements
Comply with site safety and security requirements
Complete introductory training to include hazardous waste regulations, duties, and responsibilities. Participate in annual refresher of hazardous waste training consistent with "Annual Hazardous Waste Training Class". Training to be provided by a person trained in hazardous waste management.
Complete all required training sessions and actively participate on plant teams
Perform other duties as assigned
