Wages/Salary: Starts at $9/hr. They do get a 90 day evaluation which can result in a raise of up to .50 if performance and attendance are good.

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills (obtain passing score on Piedmont Tech skills assessment).
Flexible – willing to work where needed
Strong communication and team skills
Reliable – good attendance and safety record

Positive attitude; ability to make independent decisions
Basic computer skills
Ability to work well with others, to share knowledge through training
Ability to perform lifting of 25-40 pounds
Demonstrated aptitude to operate production machinery
Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check, a DMV Check, and a Credit Check

Job Description:

Operation of machinery for slitting, rewinding, inspection, and editing of RFID Inlays, Antennas and labels.
Primarily responsible for the complete operation of the inspection process and equivalent machinery which support the finishing business, and:
Production of quality product
Accountability for product scrap per customer requirements
Safe operation of the equipment and safe operation practices
Meeting production schedules
Provide direction and training for others while fostering a team environment
Proactively communicate scheduling, quality, or safety issues to appropriate personnel.
Maintain high standard of housekeeping, keeping floors and equipment clean and orderly.
Learn all areas of the Finishing operation and be able to perform effectively.
Attend all required training sessions and actively participate on plant teams.
Meet with on-coming shift to communicate issues, problem, schedule, etc.
Produce error free paperwork and SMART transactions
Understand customer product requirement
Complete introductory training to include hazardous waste regulations, duties, and responsibilities. Participate in annual refresher of hazardous waste training consistent with "Annual Hazardous Waste Training Class". Training to be provided by a person trained in hazardous waste management.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with root cause analysis
Perform other duties as assigned.
