Successful completion of START Technician-Electrician III training program or have verifiable experience
Must have the ability to interpret schematics, prints and oral instructions
Must be able to install and field wire complex PLCs, inverters and other electrical applications
Must be able to interpret electrical situations to determine process failure, process need and process improvement
Must be able to use test equipment including, but not limited to DMMs, amp meters, Megger meters
Must have knowledge of computers, PLCs, inverters, and other electronics
Installation and repair of all electrical equipment. Use knowledge of the principles and techniques commonly used in the electrical field. Use knowledge of programming and troubleshooting of all electrical equipment including, but not limited to, PLCs, inverters, and single loop controllers throughout the facility. Provide training and guidance to Technician-Electrician II. Must be able to successfully perform all requirements of Technician-Electrician III according to START program requirements.
Previous verifiable industrial electrical experience
Previous residential electrical experience
The candidate chosen for this position may be hired at an interim job title and interim pay rate if all training and testing requirements for the position have not been successfully completed prior to hire/placement.
