MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A high school diploma or 10th grade equivalency and 1 year related work experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma, two (2) years related work experience in a commercial or institutional environment. Valid South Carolina Driver's license.

Job Description:

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES In this challenging role, you will support the Custodial Services department at Greenville Technical College. A dinner/lunch break will be scheduled mid-shift and will be 30 minutes in duration. Total paid hours for this position is 28.00 hours per week. This position may require the employee to work a schedule outside of normal hours and weekends to cover special events. Duties may include any or all of the following: Vacuum college facilities. Clean college facilities to include, but not limited to classrooms, labs, meeting room, building entrances, stairwells, industrial shop area. Sanitize restrooms. Remove trash and debris from college facilities. Collect and deliver to designated collection points cardboard, plastic, and other recycling items. Police areas outside of buildings for litter and other debris. Keep custodial equipment clean and functional. Report to supervisor or lead custodian if any equipment is not functioning properly. Assist other college departments as assigned by supervisor or lead custodian. Perform non-routine custodial tasks as assigned by supervisor or lead custodian. Perform other duties as required by supervisor or lead custodian.

Monday-Thursday 3:00pm to 10:30pm
