A 10th grade education; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid commercial driver's license. (Note): This position requires a commercial driver's license. However applicants without a commercial driver's license will be considered if no qualified applicants with a commercial driver's license are available. However, applicants are required to obtain a Class B commercial driver's license within six (6) months of employment. May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends or holidays, and during inclement weather or other emergencies.
Working knowledge of practices applied in care and safe operation of specialized road
construction and maintenance equipment. Working of practices applied in working knowledgeof state laws pertaining to operation of equipment upon highways. Performs emergency repairs and adjustments. Understands and follows oral and written instructions. Performs other related duties as required.
