Requirements:

A 10th grade education; or an approved acceptable equivelance in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A valid commercial driver's license. (Note): This position requires a class A commercial driver's license. However, applicants without a class A commercial driver's license will be considered if no qualified applicants with a class A commercial driver's license are available. However, applicants are required to obtain a class A commercial driver's license within six (6) months of employment. May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends or holidays, and during inclement weather or other emergencies.

Job Description:

Performs routine to semi-skilled maintenance work repairing road shoulders, patching potholes, paving driveways, and cleaning drainage ditches. Operates specialized road construction and maintenance equipment while performing repairs and adjustments to roadways and bridges. Follows oral and written instructions. Performs other related duties as required.
