Sets up traffic control according to MUTCD standards to warn motorists of roadwork ahead.Assists with mowing supervisor's duties and responsibilities during their absences. Acts as lead worker for mowing crew. Performs daily service on mowing equipment including mechanical repairs, welding and ensuring all tractors are fueled as needed. Operates boom mowers, slope mowers, and/or batwing mowers in roadside and right-of-way clearing operations as necessary.Operates herbicide truck in the spraying of herbicides to control undesirable vegetation along department right-of-ways. Performs other related duties as necessary
