Wages/Salary: The state salary ranges from $25,627.00 to $47,413.00 Annually. The agencies minimum is $30,138.00 and the maximum is $47,413.00.

Requirements:

You will need to have a high school diploma and four and one-half (4.5) years of related trades experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a valid commercial driver's license. (Note): This position requires a commercial driver's license. However, applicants without a commercial driver's license will be considered if no qualified applicants with a commercial driver's license are available. However, applicants are required to
obtain a commercial driver's license within six (6) months of employment. You may be required to work overtime due to inclement weather, night shifts and/or weekends or holidays.

Job Description:

You will work under general supervision of the District Roadway Engineer; serve as crew leader and mill operator for the District Full Depth Patching Crew; perform operator's duties on various types of equipment and oversees safety and maintenance of assigned equipments. Supervises a crew of skilled trades specialists involved in full depth patching operations; assist supporting counties with asphalt placement, traffic control, and equipment coordination as needed; operates CDL Class A combination vehicle to transport equipment and materials; perform daily inspections and maintenance of milling machine and supporting equipment; perform other related duties as needed.

Schedule:
Your schedule will be from Monday to Friday; 8:30 to 5:00.
