Wages/Salary: The state salar ranges from $25,627.00 to $47,413.00 annually. The agencies hiring range minimum is $30,138.00 and the maximum is $47,413.00.

Requirements:

You will be required to have a high school diploma and four and one-half (4.5) years of related trades experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However,
applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

You will supervise a maintenance crew patching base and surface failures; perform any related duties as directed by the supervisor; supervise crew of maintenance workers in digging out and backfilling bad areas in roadways in preparation for resurfacing and skim patching; maintain weekly and monthly reports, time sheets and cost records; recommends personnel actions including promotions, transfers and disciplinary measures; rates employee yearly according to the Employee Performance Management System; supervise and ensure a safe work zone for maintenance crew, as in flagging operations, wearing of safety equipment, vehicle safety, or
when working with hazardous material and waste; supervise the preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure routine maintenance schedules are followed and monitors equipment use and wear to prolong equipment life. Supervises and coordinates crew in the removal of snow and ice from roadways and storm damage. Performs other job related duties, including on call for after hour emergencies; devise and implements schedule for work to be performed by maintenance crew.

Your schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00.
